Match Preview:
Tigre suffered from a brand new manager bounce from Independiente last weekend as they lost 1:0 away to the aspect being overseen on a caretaker basis by Fernando Beron. Tigre truly had additional chances, more possession, and more shots both on and off beam, but couldn’t create it tell and slumped to defeat. Any suggestion they may be but match match after three weeks off appeared off beam, but they didn’t look especially good in the final third.
Aldosivi have done well lately, and place during a tight performance against Racing last weekend, but lost 2:1 at home to the champions. It was their second straight home defeat, but will be unlikely to overly have an effect on morale – as Primera newcomers they wouldn’t have expected points from fixtures like that, and can be focussing more on the performance, especially given that in different matches in the last couple of months they’ve done very well indeed.
This appearance sort of a very fascinating match-up. The two sides are only a point apart in the league table, and whilst Tigre haven’t won either of their last 2, their kind previous to those games was robust. The key here's what will manage to win out – Tigre’s strong defence, or Aldosivi’s attack?
I’m tentatively going to back Tigre’s defence. They’ve conceded one goal at home all season, and have only dropped 2 points there. Aldosivi’s away record isn’t unhealthy by any means that, however it’s more or less as smart as Tigre’s home one. Each of Tigre’s recent slip-ups have come back aloof from home, and back in front of their own fans as they head into the winter break, they’ll be sturdy. I like Aldosivi, and suppose they’ll be well away from relegation by the tip of the year, however they could end up disappointed in this match.
Expect Tigre Win
